XenialQuote — Compare Insurance, Manage Document. A platform developed and used by A-Brokers Ltd. Last updated: 11 September 2026.
This policy explains how A-Brokers Ltd ("A-Brokers", "we", "us"), an insurance broker licensed by the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius (Licence No. BI 14000094), collects and uses your personal data when you use the Xenial platform (this website and the Xenial Quote mobile app) to request and compare insurance quotes. We are the data controller for that information under the Data Protection Act 2017 of Mauritius.
Where you request health or medical cover, some of the details you enter are special-category (sensitive) data. We process these only with your explicit consent and solely to obtain the quote you asked for.
To get you quotes we share the relevant details with the insurers you select (or, where you don't select, the insurers we approach on your behalf) and with service providers that help us run the platform (for example, email delivery). We may disclose information where required by law, a regulator, or the courts. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for unrelated advertising.
We keep your request and the resulting comparison for as long as needed to provide the service and any broking relationship that follows, and thereafter for the period required by law and FSC record-keeping rules. When it is no longer needed we delete or anonymise it.
Under the Data Protection Act 2017 you may ask to access, correct, or delete your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, request a copy in a portable form (data portability), and withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect processing already carried out). To exercise a right, or to reach our data-protection contact, please contact A-Brokers Ltd via a-brokers.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Office of Mauritius.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. It is encrypted in transit, and access is limited to those who need it to serve you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and you may request its deletion at any time.
The Xenial Quote Android app collects only what is described above. It stores a temporary sign-in token on your device so you don't re-verify during a session; it does not read your contacts, location, photos or files. Any external links open in your device browser.
The service is intended for adults arranging insurance. It is not directed at children creating their own accounts. Where a policy covers dependants, an adult provides those details.
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above will change and material updates will be made available here.
By using the Xenial platform you agree to these terms.
A-Brokers Ltd is a licensed insurance and reinsurance broker in Mauritius. Xenial lets you request quotes and see them compared side by side. A broker acts for you, the client — not for any single insurer.
Any premium, cover or comparison shown or emailed to you is indicative and for information only. It is not an offer of insurance and does not create cover. Cover exists only once an insurer accepts the risk and issues a policy, subject to that insurer's own terms, conditions and exclusions. Prices and terms may change.
You agree to give accurate and complete information. Insurance decisions rely on it, and incorrect or incomplete information can affect a quote or a future claim.
Guest access is by email verification; there is no account or password. You are responsible for the email address you use and for keeping your device secure while a session is active.
The Xenial platform, its content and branding are owned by A-Brokers Ltd or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.
To the extent permitted by law, A-Brokers is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the platform, or from reliance on indicative figures before a policy is issued. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or our obligations as a licensed broker.
These terms and our services are governed by the laws of Mauritius, including the Insurance Act 2005, and are subject to the jurisdiction of its courts.
A-Brokers Ltd is licensed by the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius (FSC Licence No: BI 14000094). Insurance broking services are subject to the Insurance Act 2005 of Mauritius and applicable FSC regulations.
